Video: Ramen and Udon Vending Machine

Man, I wish we had something like this here. Quality doesn't look very good, but the machine looks a little dated and the price is only 300 yen ($3.69). I wonder how it tastes.

Video: Replicating Restaurant Ramen

NHK's Cool Japan showed a video on how it is possible to replicate the high quality tastes of ramen from ramen restaurants for instant noodle packages. The development manager is an interesting chap as he can replicate ramen simply by smelling it, tasting it, and jotting down notes of what he thinks is in it.

Video: Jamiroquai Loves Cup Noodle

Nissin is using Jamiroquai's iconic "Virtual Insanity" music video to promote their Cup Noodles. The original is one of the best music videos ever made, in my opinion. However, I always had trouble with picking up the lyrics. Thankfully, Nissin has made it clearer and it turns out Jay Kay was just explain his love for Cup Noodle. Watch below.

Video: Maruchan Spring Themed Cup Noodles Commercial

Maruchan just released cup noodles based off of the four seasons in Japan. Below is a commercial for their Spring themed cup noodles with American Enka (basically Japanese pop music) singer Jero.



My only question is, do these actually have sakura (cherry blossom) flowers in them? Doubt we'll see these Spring cup noodles over here in the States, but thought this was interesting nonetheless, if not, just for a laugh.
